  1. For Dosa batter:
  2. 1/2 cup sago / sabudana
  3. 1.5 cup samak rice/ moraiyo/ barnyard millet
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Water as required

  8. 1 tbsp green chillies paste
  9. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  10. 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  11. Pinch sugar

  15. For coconut chutney:
  16. 1/2 cup coconut chopped in cubes
  17. 2 tsp curd
  18. 1 green chilli
  19. 1/2 tsp sugar
  20. 1 tsp roasted peanuts
  21. Salt to taste
  22. Water as required
  23. leaves Curry
  24. 1 tsp oil

Instructions to make to make Farali Dosa

  1. For farali dosa batter, Wash and soak moraiyo and sabudana separately for 5 to 6 hrs.
    Further grind it separately adding required water and then mix both the batter and add salt. Make dosa like batter and cover it and keep this aside.
  2. For potato bhaji, heat oil in a pan. Then add cumin seeds and when it splutter, add green chillies paste, curry leaves and saute well. Further add boiled cubed potatoes, salt, sugar, lemon juice and coriander leaves. Let it cook for few minutes. Potato bhaji is ready.
  3. For coconut chutney, take mixer jar, in that add coconut, salt, curd, green chillies, sugar, roasted peanuts and add water as required and grind it. Now transfer it into a bowl. Heat oil in a small pan, then add curry leaves and pour this tempering into prepared chutney. Coconut chutney is ready to serve.
  4. Now for making dosa, heat the dosa tawa and apply some oil. Now take a big spoonful of batter and pour it on tawa. we don't have to apply spatula in circular motion to make this dosa. You just have to pour and it will naturally spread itself. Apply some oil to sides of dosa and above it. Cook it from both the sides and serve this farali dosa with farali potato bhaji and coconut chutney.
